Vietnam Photography Adventure

Hi Folks! We are back from our Vietnam Photography Adventure workshop with many nice photos!

It was a short yet thrilling trip where we were exposed to an amazing range of photography opportunities in 4 days, from Traditional Vietnamese Portraiture to Street photography as well as Vietnamese lifestyle shoot and many more.

Beside photography opportunities, we also came to understand better the daily life of the locals by walking into the villages (with permission) and experienced different modes of local transportation such as cyclo ride, boat, horse and many more. If I were to use to two words to describe this trip, they would definitely be “eye-opening” and “adventurous” trip!

As the saying goes, a picture speaks a thousand words, so I will now let these beautiful pictures do the talking instead. :)

Let’s hear what the participants have to say about the trip.

“I have personally experienced the advantages of using the different lenses which could not have happened if I did not come on this trip. Darren spent a lot of his personal time to advise us about our shoot of the day and how to improve on the setting by going through our pictures, whereas Xing Hui made sure we had enough sleep and food.” – George Tay

“Enjoyable. Good photo experience. Xing Hui was truly helpful and provided support for all of us (additional equipments to try). Darren’s knowledge was a boom.” – Augustine Appadurai

“This trip provides intermediate photographers exposure to various forms of photography. Firstly, we learnt from Darren and Xing Hui some photography techniques. And also share views with other photographers. Secondly, I appreciate the arrangements to set up professional lighting to show us how to obtain quality photos.” – Stanley Kwan
